There are many kinds of Japanese obi, but this Hanhaba obi is the most beautiful, gorgeous, and high-class Fukuro-Obi that we have remade for our customers into a width that is easier to tie. In Japan, narrow Hanhaba obi are generally made for yukata and everyday wear. Therefore, they tend to be made of casual materials and designs.
We have been able to solve these problems by remaking the finest Fukuro-obi into Hanhaba-obi, in order to create Hanhaba-obi that are easy for customers to wear and that match the beautiful and formal kimonos that our customers usually purchase at our Arashiyama main store. The basic criterion for selecting an obi is to use obi that are woven with as few colors as possible, so that they match gorgeous, multi-colored kimonos.
