This kimono is made from ro, a fabric used only in midsummer. It is a thin, light, and soft fabric that is transparent without a lining. From 1970. Hand-drawn. Partially embroidered. Even in midsummer, it is vibrant and cool, with waterside plants and flowers painted in light blue, light gray, white, and silver as the basic colors. Chrysanthemums, plum blossoms, pink flowers, bamboo leaves, bush clover flowers, and pine trees. Among the pale colors, some of the central chrysanthemum flowers are painted in deep red and deep purple, tightening the overall look. This is a very elegant kimono. In good condition. Obi and string are not included.
